I found Cafe Victoria in search to find a place for a surprise party. The place looks exactly like in the pictures, super cozy and beautiful. It's a great place for baby shower, private events, holidays parties/dinners, conferences etc. 

Olga and James were really helpful and it was really easy working with both of them. The facility were squeaky clean and the restrooms conveniently located. Also James, our point of contact while in the venue, was very friendly and accommodating.

My overall experience was very pleasant. I'd definitely recommend and use Cafe Victoria for any future events. Thank you for everything Olga and James.

I found this venue on evenues. I reserved the place, emailed James. He got back to me right a way- he was very kind and he assured me he would reserve for me.

He then, gave me Olga's # to discuss finances. She was pleasant, very helpful and she answered all my questions.

The day of the event, everything went smoothly, James was there to make sure we had everything we needed. 

The place is nice and very cozy, with a nice view to a garden. 
I would will book this venue again in the future and would recommend it to family and friends.

I rented this space for a celebration and a group improvisation today.  It was really lovely! Great mood, and lovely space to make music and get together with people.  The caretakers were flexible, reasonable and kind. They also make great coffee, if you need to order that for your event.  Absolutely recommended.

I needed to film a scene at a cafe for my student film and this was perfect!  Great set up, great lighting, and very quiet! Olga was always quick with communication and was flexible with scheduling.  Once the doors are open, she lets you do your thing and never intrudes but is available should you need her. Highly recommend.

Father James and Olga were very kinda and generous during our one month stay here to produce a play here. The price for a month long space rental, for a play in Manhattan, is incomparable. This is a good value and good people.
 

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Are tables and chairs included in the rate?

• Yes. We have 45 chairs in the space, 5 spare and a bench that seats 15+.

Can I visit the space?

• Yes, sure. We prefer 9am - 11:30am or after 3pm on weekdays but can arrange weekend visits too. Let us know when is a convenient time for you.

Can we use the kitchen?

• We rent the kitchen out for $50 an hour if it is to be used for cooking or warming food.

Can we refrigerate some drinks? 

• Yes, if it’s just to refrigerate some drinks we can give you access to our kitchen free of charge. Please be sure not exceed 2 visits to the kitchen (as you have to be accompanied because the elevator has a passcode)

Do you have plates, glasses and silverware?

• Yes, we rent it out for $150.

How much is audio visual?

• We have a projector and screen, we rent it out for $60.

Can we use the piano?

• Yes. Please note that we’ve just replaced the grand piano with an upright. It has nice sound nonetheless.

Is there a house speaker system we can plug into to play music?

• There are speakers that work for the space, nothing fancy, you can plug in your device.

Are alcoholic beverages allowed?

• Yes, mild alcoholic beverages are allowed as long as it is provided free of charge.

Can we bring in our own food, or do you have preferred caterers?

• You can bring your own food. If you prefer to have your event catered, we offer Great quality Italian food for $35 per person. Please see the menu here.

What type of decorating is allowed?

• Any type of decorating that doesn’t damage the space is allowed.
